H2020 AQUA-FANG, BovReg et GENE-SWitCH project seminar: current resultats and perspectives

20 January 2022

Webinaire

The GABI unit is organizing a virtual seminar on Friday, January 21, 2022 on the H2020 AQUA-FANG, BovReg et GENE-SWitCH projects to share current results and perspectives.

The AQUA-FAANG, BovReg et GENE-SWitCH projects - all three with an important INRAE participation - are today major contributors to the international FAANG (Functional Annotation of Animal Genomes ; http://www.faang.org/) initiative.

The program for these projects have many traits in common. In particular, they are focused on the functional annotation of genomes of several species (fish, cattle, chickens and pigs) and on the use of these new annotations to answer targeted biological questions.

Scientists from GABI will illustrate the progress of the activities that they lead in these two frameworks.

The creation of EuroFAANG initiated by these three projects allows changing the scale and perspectives on the European level and concerns new international projects in which INRAE partiipates.

These subjects and perspectives will be discussed together during a final round-table discussion.
